Is Expensicat right for my business?
Expensicat is built for freelancers, solo founders and small teams who handle their own business finances. It is not designed for companies with an in-house finance team. Start with receipts or invoicing, then bring in more of your work when you are ready.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You can start by uploading a receipt, forwarding an invoice or creating a client invoice. Connect a supported bank, or import a statement, when you want your transactions in.
Will this replace my accountant?
No. Your accountant still does the accounting. Expensicat keeps your receipts, transactions and invoices in order, so the records you hand over need less back-and-forth.
What does it cost?
Expensicat is free during beta, and you can start without a credit card. Planned launch pricing is on the pricing page.
What happens to my data?
Your records belong to you, and you can export them at any time. Our privacy policy explains how we store and process information, including when AI features are used.
